Michael Opgenhaffen (Ph.D) is professor New Media & Journalism at University of Leuven and lecturer at University of Leiden. His research interests include new/social/digital media, online journalism, information-processing and journalistic competencies. He is director of studies of the Master Journalism KU Leuven at Campus Antwerp.
